FVS Nail Polish | Review2:22 PM
Hey guys! Today I have a few polishes from a new indie brand to share with you. FVS Nail Polish. FVS Nail Polish is 5 free, cruelty free and vegan brand. They are also located in Canada. Let's get right to it.
FVS Nail Polish-Starry Night
Starry Night is gunmetal gray shimmer jelly polish with black and white micro glitters throughout. I applied two coats and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was thick but sheer at the same time, as you can see on my pinky nail. It felt heavy while applying it causing dragging. I felt that if I used a third coat it would have made the finished mani too thick, which in my experience leads to chipping. But it may be different for others nail chemestry. I addressed this with the maker and was told that they are trying to go for a formula that will get opaque in 1-2 coats unlike 2-3 coats like most nail polishes. and that as for the heaviness, they have had a few of their customers suggested wanting a heavier formula because some ladies have very brittle and thin nails and have said that their nail polishes have served them well. Personally, I was not a fan of the application or formula, but to each their own.
FVS Nail Polish-Lime Zest
Lime Zest is a faded lime green shimmer polish with green micro glitters. I used two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was slightly thick but still manageable.
FVS Nail Polish-Bamboo
Bamboo is a mint green shimmer polish with green and blue micro fine glitter throughout. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Again, slightly on the thicker side but applied pretty easy.
All polishes are available now for purchase for $9.69 each. Please check out the links below for more info!
