Digit-al Dozen | Get To Know Me | Day 1

12:12 PM

Nothing to Disclose
Hey guys! So I know I missed last months Digital Dozen prompt, but I needed a break and to take a step back to try and reorganize a more realistic and not so overwhelming nail schedule. Between my personal life, review obligations and art challenges I have been wearing myself very thin. Unfortunately the scheduling still hasn't let up much for this month but it will come May and I am also going to be taking a "Vacation" from May 29th to June 4th. So come June my schedule will hopefully be exactly where I want and need it to be.

Anyways, This months Digital Dozen prompt is 'Get To Know Me' and for my first mani I decided to go with my heritage. Native American. I also decided to recreate a very old mani of mine that I did I think about 4 years ago. I'm not 100% sure but it was when I had little nubs and I oiled like woah before I took pics! haha! Here is the original mani.

and here is my recreation!

POLISHES & PRODUCTS USED:
Bad Bitch Polish-Diamonds and Pearls(white)
KBShimmer-Oh Matte!
Whats Up Nails-Dance Brush
Apple Barrel-Acrylic Paint

And that's it! Unfortunately I haven't done any of the other manis yet for this week so I'll be posting each day by the skin of my teeth! It's been a long weekend (in reality a long few months) and I'm trying like hell to find my creative art juices again, My nail art mojo has left the building and trying to get it back has been a bit of a pain! Send me some nail god prayers please! lol

  1. Wow, that's incredible! I'm happy to hear you've decided to take care of yourself. Don't let nail art become a big stress. It's supposed to be the stress reliever :-)

And wow, you've apparently simply always been an amazing freehander! I mean, you've gotten even better, but 4 years ago it was already awesome!
And Native American, that's so cool! I can't help it, it speaks to my imagination, it's fascinating. Which tribe are you a descendant of? I'm sorry, I have just always been infatuated by anthropology, amongst other things...

  5. Wow, these nails look incredible! I'm glad to hear that you took some time for yourself too<3 It's kind of funny how stressful blogging can really get even though most of us started doing it because it was stress relieving.
