Hi loves! Today I have a handful of polishes from Madam Glam to share with you! They let me pick what I wanted to test so I decided on some of their new "Gelementary" polishes. The Gelementary line is a collection of polishes that are stated to be Gel like nail polish with No LED/UV light needed. Read on for more info!
FORMULAS & APPLICATIONS:
They all achieved full opacity in two coats. They are shown here with the two coats plus the Gelemetary top coat. All applied great and evenly and were really opaque formulas. I did have some issues with the orange cream, Cecily. It had some unmixed pigment throughout it which did effect application as you can see in the photos. They all dried a semi-glossy finish and needed the top coat to be fully glossy.

I tested how long they lasted to see if they worked any differently then regular polish since they are advertised as "gel-like". The base coat seemed to work well for me and kept the polish on for a good amount of time. I kept the mani on for 4 days and didn't experience any wear on my tips, just some gloss fading from the top coat(which also happens to me with all my other top coats). I unfortunately couldn't keep the mani on any longer then the 4 days due to having other swatch obligations but I think I would be satisfied to say the polishes did stay on really well and I loved the opaque formulas. I can't say for sure if that has anything to do with their "Gel-like" formulas or not though as most of my manis last about 4 days as well.

I did experience some top coat "dragging" as you may be able to see in some of the photos. I feel like that was because they seemed to dry slower then regular polish which I am not used to when swatching. You don't see this in the blue polish(Principal's Office) photos because that is the one I used to test and I let each coat fully dry for about 10 min. Which is why I believe the top coat dragged a bit on the others because when swatching I do not wait 10 min between each coat, I wait about 3-5 minutes, otherwise I would be swatching for quite a few hours a day lol so if you purchase these I do recommend waiting at least 10 minutes between coats.
