Powder Perfect | Review2:16 PM
Hey there loves! I know it's been almost a week since my last post and I deeply apologize for that. I had a lot of doctor visits as well as my nieces 4th Birthday Party(which I host every year) to focus on. But during all that time I received some gorgeous polishes from a few different brands I have never worked with before, and today I'll be sharing one of them with you!
These lovelies were sent to me by Powder Perfect. Powder Perfect is an independent beauty company based in Queensland, Australia. They only make vegan products and never tests on animals. The owner, Jacinta, draws on inspiration from; history, literature, nature and old world glamour when designing a new color and each Powder Perfect collection comes with it's own unique story. So let's get to it!
Powder Perfect-Rainy Days Call For Greige
Rainy Days Call For Greige is described as a lovely balance between grey & beige, I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied like butter, very smooth. I was actually surprised by how well this covered in only two coats. This is the perfect neutral to add to your collection.
Rainy Days Call For Greige is inspired by those beautiful rainy days where you are snuggled up at home under the covers, hot chocolate in hand, with a great movie playing. The name was inspired by Louise from @thebeautyvine who first said “Rainy days call for greige.”
Principessa is described as a lovely mid-toned pink crème lacquer with a delicate multi-coloured shimmer. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Again, Formula was great and applied easily.
Principessa was inspired by Jacinta's childhood; with 2 rambunctious sisters who loved dressing up their puppy and dolls and nicknaming them "Principessa".
Overall, I really enjoyed both polishes. The formulas were great and I was in awe in how smoothly they applied and leveled out. I'm usually not a huge fan of either color but I love how these looked with my skin tone. I will definitely be using these in some future art manis!
