Good evening my fellow nail crazies!
Tonight I bring to you swatches and reviews for a new indie called Heather's Hues! This collection is called "Vixens of the Vernal Equinox" collection and consist of 3 polishes. 2 shimmering polishes and 1 jelly.
First we have Floralia. A shimmery white/light pink polish full of glitters of all sizes in greens and pinks. This polish is named after the celebration held in spring to honor Flora, the goddess of flowers. I used 3 thin coats of this to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. This went on good and there were plenty of glitters to go around.
Second is Aurora's Awakening. A gold, shimmery polish full of red-gold micro flakes, and several shades of red, yellow, and orange glitters in every size. This polish was made to resemble the beautiful sunshine that Aurora, goddess of dawn, uses to paint the morning sky. I used 3 thin coats of this to make it opaque then sealed it with a glossy top coat. This polish definitely has that sun rising look and it also has a fall themed look to it. Again, this went on good and there was plenty of glitters.
Last up, we have Luna's Lullaby. A bright, blue-violet jelly polish full of indigo micro flakes with all different sized hexes and circles, and are various shades of blues, purples, silvers, and blacks. This polish was made to resemble the night sky, right after a springtime sunset, and is named after Luna, the moon goddess. I used 3 thin coats of this but probably could have gotten away with just 2 coats. I then sealed it with a glossy top coat. This went on good and its a very pretty jelly polish.
