Digit-al Dozen | Rainbow | Day 1

Press Sample
Hey loves! Its Digit-al Dozen week and this weeks theme is Rainbow. For my Day one I decided on doing this different but fun rainbow stripe and polka dot mani.

I'll be honest, this mani was pretty time consuming for me but I had fun doing it! I achieved this look by making decals on an uber chic mat, using vinyls, dotting tools and studs.

Polishes and Products Used:
UberChic Beauty- UberChic Mat
Whats Up Nails- Skinny Straight Vinyls
Born Pretty Store- Circle Polka Dot Studs
Zoya-Hannah(red)
Zoya-Cam(orange)
Zoya-Sia(blue)
Bad Bitch Polish-In The Summertime(yellow)
Pipedream Polish-Tabanca(green)
ColorClub-Disco Dress(purple)
Winstonia-Dotting Tool
Glisten and Glow-Top Coat

I received these adorable round polka dot studs from the Born Pretty Store for review, which you can get in round, triangle or square.

These are item #22314 and are $1.99
They applied very easily and using a clear coat as my glue lasted about 2 days. They may have lasted even longer but I had to remove the mani to do some swatching.

  2. This is such a fun mani! You can tell how much work went into making this as neat and intricate as it is. I also really love the polka dots. I would never have thought of combining them with the rainbow stripes but it looks great!

  3. This is such a great manicure!! What clean up brush do you use? I need a new one. The e.l.f. ones are terrible now!

    1. I used numerous different brushes for clean up, really all depends on how much I'm actually cleaning up. For this mani I used http://www.bornprettystore.com/ways-flower-acrylic-nail-design-dotting-painting-brush-tool-p-4155.html

But the other 2 I use are the ELF black angled brush and this one from winstonia...http://winstonia.com/winstonia-double-ended-everyday-eye-shadow-brow-brush/

All 3 brushes are so different from each other which is why I go back and forth between all 3. I use the one from BP when cleaning a lot of polish because the bristles are thicker. I use the Winstonia one has really fine and soft bristles which is good for tiny clean up mistakes and I use the ELF for swatching because the angle as well as bristle thickness is perfect to make really clean lines around the polish(if that makes since?) lol

      hope that helps!
