Salon Perfect | Review Part 2

Press Sample
Hey guys! Today I have Part two of my Salon Perfect review to share with you. I was sent a good amount of polishes as well as three Nail Polish Sprays to test out and instead of bombarding you with a ton of photos and info all at once I figured I would break it up into 3 parts so you could enjoy each shade properly.

Salon Perfect is one of the most popular mainstream professional nail lacquers and nail art liners sold exclusively in Walmart stores around the country. Salon Perfect lets you play, enhance and express yourself from head to toe.
Salon Perfect-Sugar Cube
Salon Perfect-Sugar Cube

Sugar Cube is a white cream polish. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was streaky on the first coat but leveled out well by the second. Definitely a white I will be purchasing more of that's for sure!

Oil Slick is a black cream. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied really well. It was pretty opaque in one coat, only did a second for good measure. By far my favorite black cream I have come across so far!

Salon Perfect-In Mint Condition

In Mint Condition is a pastel mint green cream. I applied three coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula on this one was a little watery for my liking which made the first couple coats streaky. It did level out well by the third though.

Mer-Made of Money is an aqua blue cream. I applied three coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was similar to "In Mint Condition". Thin and streaky first two coats but leveled out by the third.

Siren Song is a blue jelly packed tight with blue, green and silver holo flakies. I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied really well.

And here is a fun summery art mani I did using Mer-Made of Money and Siren Song. I also used plate BBF-17 from BBF Nail Art and the Scale Vinyls are from Whats Up Nails (use my 10% off code CDBNAILS143)

Overall, I really enjoyed the main staple polishes, the white and black which I run out of extremely quickly and both will be the ones I purchase from now on.  As for the other polishes I'd have to say the blue jelly, Siren Song was my favorite. Which is yours?

All of these polishes can be found at your local Walmart stores for $3.98 each.

  6. LOVE the nail art! I sometimes attempt to mimic your style, but I never quite get it right.. Your skittlettes are always perfectly balanced, and this is no exception.
As for the polishes, I'm impressed by the white and the glitter and I love the shade of In Mint Condition!

  9. I usually don't pay much attention to straight up black or white polishes because I don't tend to use them alone very often, but both Sugar Cube and Oil Slick really caught my eye! They look great-- I love the deep, inky quality Oil Slick has.
