Bliss Polish | Birthday-versary Duo
Press Sample
Hey Loves! So today's post is a little special to me and I'm about to have a fan girl moment haha! So many many moons ago, I purchased my very first indie polish. It was from the awesome Bliss Polish and I was addicted to all things indie polish from that point on. So when Yvette asked me to join her swatch/review team I freaked! Guys no joke I screeched with excitement and the hubs looked at me like I lost my damn mind haha! This was a big deal to me! Since I started reviewing one of my main goals(as corny as it sounds) was to hopefully review for the company who sold me my very first indie polish and sent me down the path that I am on now and I have reached that goal! I am so very honored and excited! okay Fan girl moment over. haha!
Now onto the polish! Meet the Birthday-versary Duo! Bliss Polishes 3rd Birthday is this month and Yvette is releasing this duo to celebrate! Read on for more info!
Bliss Polish-Pop Champagne
Description: Pop Champagne is described as a greige holographic polish with gold shimmer. Will Retail for $9/12ml
Formula & Application: I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was great and applied smoothly. My photos aren't doing the holo any justice. In person the prism is stronger and almost has a blue-gold prism effect to it which you can notice more in my macro shot.
Bliss Polish-Trois Ans
Description: Trios Ans is described as light pink polish packed with pink holo, silver holo and rose gold microflakes. Will Retail for $9/12ml
Formula & Application: I applied two coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a thick coat of glossy top coat. Due to being a glitter-bomb that's packed tight with both micro glitters and flakies the formula was a little on the thicker side but not unmanageable. Yvette has also stated she will be thinning the formula out a bit before launch. Of course, like all glitter-bombs, Trois Ans does dry to a textured finish so you will need a glossy top coat for a smooth finish.
And here is a fun little art mani I did using both polishes! I think they go great together! I used chevron vinyls from Love, Angeline.
Overall: I enjoyed both polishes. My personal favorite is the holo, Pop Champagne. Surprisingly I don't have a color quite like this in my collection yet so It's a nice addition. The glitter is also fun but I'm personally not a pink fan, but for you pink polish lovers this is a must have! But let's be real, if your a Bliss Babe this is a must have! haha!
This duo will be available August 9th!
$9 per polish or $18 for the duo
