Digit-al Dozen | Decades | Day 1

Press Sample
Hey guys! Its our first Digit-al Dozen of 2017!!! which also marks a year since I was invited into the group! woo hoo! Anyways, this months Digital Dozen theme is 'Decades'. I was super excited for this one and then when it actually came time to think of mani ideas my brain went blank! haha Not to mention I have had the flu for a week now and only just started feeling better yesterday so trying to stick to my New Years resolution of free handing most, if not all, of my DD manis was put to the test already *Sigh* lol But I pushed through and got it done!

I decided to start in the 1920's with a flapper girl!

I first started by applying a white, nude to gray gradient. I then stamped on a classic damasque pattern with black stamping. Using a thin paint brush from Whats Up Nails and acrylic paint I freehand painted the Flapper Girl. Sealed it all with a glossy top coat.

Here is a speed through video of me creating this mani :)

So for seriously not feeling well and being on about 5 hours of sleep total in 4.5 days I'd say i did pretty well haha. I was actually pretty proud of myself considering. I am feeling better today as I type this so I am starting to look forward to working on the rest of the DD manis. What do you guys think of the mani? What other decades should I do? Let me know in the comments! XO
