Lina Nail Art Supplies | Make Your Mark-03 Plate

Press Sample
Hey guys! Today I have a handful of art manis to share with you that I created using one of Lina Nail Art Supplies new plates! 'Make Your Mark 03' This plate contains trendy hand drawn textures and all kind of cool designs that can perfectly mix and match. But not only that! They added a very unique image to this plate. the black image in the middle of the plate is an image that could help you to do gradients without a sponge! Also, it will help you add layers of solid colors for a faster base coat before you stamp! This plate has so much potential!

My Thoughts:
All of the designs were etched well and transferred just as well. I will be honest though, it take a lot of trial and error and practice to find your rhythm with the blank box for gradients. It's most definitely a working curve. I had to learn to not use as much pressure when scraping and only my clear stampers would work. I luckily got some help from Elena over at Nail Experiments. She walked me through it and helped me figure out what I was doing wrong(which was the scraping) She was also awesome enough to create a few videos to share her tips and tricks which you can find [here]. I highly suggest you check it out!

  1. I love the different looks you created with this plate- they look amazing! I think my favorite is the flames, or the purple flowers. I've seen a lot of reviews on this plate- the concept of an open block to stamp with is so interesting!

  3. Wowza - lots of gorgeous nail art here!! So fun and helpful too. You might not want me to have seen this -- but I was personally relieved to see your dominant hand with nail polish on it -- I thought I was the only one who gets it on me. LOL Great post!

  5. I'm loving all the images on this plate and the manicures you did - like, a lot - but I'm not sure I 'get' the idea of the black one or how you'd use it for a gradient...
