Hello! I have another Polish Pickup contribution for you tonight! The Polish Pickup is a Facebook group where makers create a polish/product based on a certain theme each month and all of the polishes are sold in the Polish Pickup store the first weekend of that month. Customers then get to pick which polishes/products they want and pay a flat rate shipping of $3, pretty sweet right?

December's theme is "Holiday's Around The World" and tonight I have Colores de Carols to share with you! This is called "La Guerra del Tomate (The Tomato War)". Inspired by La Tomatina, which is a festival that is held in the Valencian town of Buñol, in which participants throw tomatoes and get involved in this tomato fight purely for entertainment purposes. DESCRIPTION:

Described as a bright tomato red (orangey-red) crelly with silver and gold micro holo glitter, green/gold micro flakes, green shimmer and cosmic holo micro flakes. $11

FORMULA & APPLICATION:

Shown here in two coats plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. Barely needed a second coat.

FINISH:

Dries semi-glossy. Top coat needed for a full, glossy finish.

Ever since I was a kid, I really enjoyed essentially all forms of art such as painting, drawing etc. and am a creative person to my core which is what pulled me into the indie nail community 9 years ago with my nail art. I was having health issues at the time and really needed a creative outlet to pour myself into as a form of self care and over time my nail art turned into indie polish swatching which then led to a blog and youtube channel. I never imagined 9 years ago that my love for all things nails and art would have introduced me to such a large community who all loved the same thing I did, nail art, nail polish and beauty products.
