Hello Sweeties! So if you haven't already heard the news, KBShimmer gave itself a makeover and is launching its debut collection showcasing their new look on March 15th! They now have matte black and holographic foil accented boxes for their polishes, brushed silver logo imprinted on the bottle, water resistant labels on their body care products and a 5 free base to celebrate their 10th year in business. This space themed collection is called the Launch Party Collection and consist of eight magnetic multichromes and duochromes as well as a holographic top coat. Along with the collection release they will also be selling a magnet to use with the polishes. Read on for more info!

FORMULAS & APPLICATIONS:

All (aside from A Star Is Formed) had the same formula and application. Shown here in two coats over one coat of black plus top coat. Formula was good and applied well. I decided to use a black underneath them all because the magnets makes the pigment kind of move which made my naked nail peak through in random spots, which happens to me often with magnetic polishes but if you use thicker coats then myself you can definitely get away with just the two coats of the polish alone. A Star Is Formed is shown with one coat over Orbits and Pieces plus top coat.

FINISH:

Dries semi glossy. Top coat needed for a full glossy finish.

KBShimmer-Just A Phase

DESCRIPTION:

Just like the phases of the moon, this magnetic multichrome polish has many different looks. This polish shifts from shades of red, bright pink, gold, green, copper and peach.

KBShimmer-Solar Flair

DESCRIPTION:

If you are looking for a fiery polish, this magnetic multichrome is it! Like the molten flares of the sun, this polish shifts from shades of gold and yellow, to hot oranges and reds.

When the space shuttle was launched going off to the moon, I can only image the families gathered around the television, in the pastel shades of the late 60’s, anxiously awaiting those first lunar steps. This magnetic multichrome echoes those soft peach and pinks, lime green, and grass green shades of that eras fashion.

This magnetic duochrome polish is crazy as those pieces of space junk. A vibrant magenta pink hue flips to a bold blue toned purple, for a shade fit for infinity and beyond.

What is a space collection without the stars? This holographic top coat is loaded with micro holo flakes that shimmer and sparkle in the light. While not quite a linear holo, theses micro flakes produce a beautiful holo flame that paired with any of our magnetic polishes twinkle more than any galaxy in the sky.
