Sincerely Polish - 50 Shades of Grey

Hello Lovelies!
I hope everyone had a pleasant weekend! I spent mine doing a little shopping as well as a lunch date with the hubs. And lets not forget football last night! Go Pats!!! If you haven't been able to tell by now I'm a Boston girl haha But its back to the nail grind today!

And We are starting the week off with a hot collection! Karen from Sincerely Polish sent me her We Aim to Please collection to review, which is what I will be sharing with you today! I have read 2 out of 3 of the 50 Shades books and damn are they steamy! haha Honestly got a bit bored by the end of the 2nd book though so I have yet to read the 3rd, even though I do own it. Maybe after I see the movie it will make me want to read it lol

Are any of my readers 50 Shades fans? Are you looking forward to the movie? Well if you are check out these beauties, hopefully these pics will hold you over until the movie release!! haha

Hearts and Flowers
Hearts and Flowers is a nude jelly filled with red, pink and gold glitters, including hearts and flowers. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Inspired by one of Karen's favorite parts in the book where Christian tells Ana "You wanted hearts and are my heart...and here are the flowers." Like most glitter packed jelly formulas it applies a bit heavy so you need to make sure you let each coat dry completely before starting the next coat to avoid any dragging. No fishing was required but some placement was needed for the larger glitters.

Laters Baby
Laters Baby is a mysterious grey polish with subtle blue shimmer. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Inspired by the gorgeous but mysterious Christian Grey. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Formula was good and applied very well. This was my favorite of the trio. It definitely gives off that Christian Grey vibe! haha

Sealed with a Kiss
Sealed with a Kiss is a sparkly crimson red jelly with red flakies. Inspired by the lovely Anastasia Steele. I used 2 coats to achieve full opacity and sealed it with a glossy top coat. Like 'Heart and Flowers' it applied a bit heavy, like most jellys, so I needed to make sure the first coat dried fully before applying the second coat to avoid any dragging. This is the perfect red for Valentines Day!

Overall Review
I think Karen nailed each polishes inspiration perfectly. All polishes were pretty easy to apply and are also great for any Valentines themed mani or any 50 Shades fan. Full size purchases will come with a mini nail file, red rhinestones as well as a special 50 shades key chain for only $9 each! great price! The 5ML round minis will also be available but only in collection form, not individually and those will only come with the red rhinestones, selling for $12.

Available January 25th, 10am PST.
So mark your calenders and set your alarms!!

Sincerely Polish

Until Next Time!

  7. Sealed with a Kiss is stunning but Laters Baby steals the show for me. I also got a bit bored reading the books, it seems like the same scenes over and over again. I will tell you that the 3rd one is a different, it's almost like they could have skipped the 2nd book and just done 1 and 3.

  8. Beautiful swatches! Sealed With a Kiss is STUNNING! That!

  9. Sealed With A Kiss and Laters Baby looks awesome!
