Hey loves! So today is day 10 of the 31 Day Challenge. Which means today is the last day for my Disney detailed manis! I DID IT! haha I'm proud of myself lol Not only was I sick for most of it but the husband was on vacation(staycation since we didn't go anywhere haha!) so I wasn't really focused on nail stuff and tried to stay out of the nail room as much as possible to spend some time with him lol I honestly didn't think I was going to get all 10 detailed manis done! Woo Hoo!!!
Anyways, today's prompt is "Gradient". Here was another one I had no idea what to do until the day I sat down to do it. Searched around on google for Disney images and seen that a lot of the Pocahontas pictures had a gradient background so that's what I went with!
I first started by applying a pastel pink nude to purple gradient. I then free hand painted everything else with Acrylic Paint and sealed it with a glossy top coat.

I was very happy with this mani and glad I ended my Disney detailed manis with one of my favorite childhood movies. Now it's time to start regular prompt manis for the rest of the 31 Day Challenge!

To achieve an easier clean up while doing the gradient base for this mani I tried out these
Item #27347 $1.59
I first start by carefully pealing each sticker off the white backing and applying around each of my nails. They were very sticky and applied to my skin really well but It was a bit of a pain trying to get them to fit around my nail well so sadly there was some gaps.
I then sponged on the gradient. So far so good.
I carefully removed each sticker wrap from around my nails. Due to them not fitting 100% I did still have some polish on my skin.
But honestly I got about the same amount of polish on my skin as I would have if I used the regular liquid latex. So I think these stickers still get the job done. Personally its not something I would purchase but only because I do my nails too often each week to spend money on something that can only be used once. But these are perfect for those of you who do a mani and keep it on for awhile! I have read a few times that some people were able to reuse them, I wasn't able to do that, at all lol. They were too wrinkly once I removed them to try and save them to use again. Of course just like with Liquid Latex, I did still have to do some brush clean up with some acetone.
